Lessons

Elyana is an open-minded teacher and aims to create a musically inclusive environment.

Elyana believes that learning the violin should be fun and in alignment with the students' musical interests. While she teaches the standard foundational and technique-building exercises to all students, she makes an effort to get to know her students and work with their personal goals and interests - this ranges from pop, alternative music, worship songs, soul, to classical, jazz and beyond.

Improvisation lessons

Elyana is especially passionate about teaching improvisation to players of all instruments. Lessons include learning more about harmony, reading of band music symbols and lingo, rhythm and how to use that knowledge to improvise and create original ideas and fit in seamlessly within band and improvised music settings!
